The reason for Louboutin’s particular interest in creating such an entrancing nail lacquer actually ties into the origin of the original red sole.  Twenty-two years ago, Louboutin was looking over a prototype for a shoe design and saw something amiss.  In an effort to swiftly alter the dissatisfactory aspect, Louboutin took his assistant’s red nail polish and applied it to the entire underside of the shoe.

Today, the red sole is recognized around the globe as a symbol of unparalleled style and glamour, and now, Christian Louboutin Beaute artfully encapsulates the intriguing origin of this significant design element.  With 30 additional Christian Louboutin Beaute colors having just launched in three main categories (Nude, Noir and Pop), the new Louboutin Beaute line promises to be as beautifully realized as Louboutin’s signature soles.
