Instagram Love for Claire Pettibone's New Castle
Just a little Instagram Love for our dear friend Claire Pettibone… when we saw her photo of her new salon we had to share the beauty! {All additional photos courtesy of Elizabeth Messina}
After 12 years at her Beverly Hills location on Robertson she’s moved her Flagship Salon to a Los Angeles historic landmark called “The Castle”. The new flagship salon makes a perfect setting for the Claire Pettibone Collection, and a magical experience for her brides. As we’ll all see Saturday morning at New York Bridal Week, designing wedding dresses in the finest European laces and embroideries continues to be Claire’s passion and raison d’etre.
She believes a wedding gown should reflect your personality and unique sense of style. We’re happy to see that, like us, brides worldwide continue to fall in love with Claire Pettibone’s vintage-inspired and romantic style gowns.
As for her new salon, well, let’s just say, displaying her dreamy wedding gowns in a Castle just seems sort of PERFECT, actually. The historic building is located in West Hollywood, California and was designed by Curlett & Beelman in 1928 for muralist Anthony Heinsbergen. Constructed in Late Gothic Revival and Romanesque style using bricks from the original Los Angeles City Hall, the Castle features a cylindrical tower, a Renaissance-style mural in the stone arch, and a hand-painted wood-beamed ceiling. With Claire’s new romantic studio as the main attraction, the Heinsbergen Castle has been restored and redecorated to include Italian stone floors and French Empire antiques. Vintage mannequins wearing gossamer gowns are displayed on pedestals adorned with flowers, gilded mirrors, velvet-covered furniture and grandly lit chandeliers complete the setting.
It’s an enchanting experience every bride should know.
