Sade's August Fascinations are Rosy Pink and Glittering Gold
This month’s pink and gold Fascinations were inspired first when I saw the incredible “cake work” created by Cake Opera Co., particularly, the dove gray, metallic gold and pink masterpiece shown above; and second, by the sweetly masked mystery woman captured so beautifully by the talented Elizabeth Messina. From there, the collection came together as if I was gathering butterflies on a sunny summer day. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
1. Pink Gown
This lovely pink one-shoulder vintage-inspired confection is available through Moms Dresses.
2. Macarons
You and I both know, these precious little French pink and gold cookies from Sweet and Saucy Shop are too tempting to stop at just one. I dare you. No, I double dare you.
3. Wedding Cake
The magical and dramatic come together beautifully with this stacked pink, gold and gray cake by Toronto’s Cake Opera Co. {Make sure to pop over to our feature on Cake Opera Co. to see more of their inspired cakes!}
4. Champagne
When you want to experience the innovative marriage of old-world technique with modern innovation, you reach for a bottle of bubbly from Armand de Brignac. Particularly if it’s presented in a pretty pink metallic magnum! Rated the #1 champagne in the world more than once, it’s delicious to sip and stylish to display.
5. Home Fragrance Candle
Bond No. 9 is known for their perfumes named after the streets and neighborhoods of New York City, such as Gramercy Park, Central Park West and Soho. Now you can enjoy the memorable, yes, memorable smells of the well-coiffed Manhattan scene with this elegant pink glass and gold Park Avenue Scented Candle. They are divine gifts for bridesmaids, bridal shower favors and shower hostesses.
6. Earrings
These breathtaking earrings are by Le Sibille, a Roman fine jeweler founded by three talented young artists who just happen to be women: Camilla Bronzini, Francesca Neri Serneri and Antonella Perugini. There’s no better example of their innovative creations using ancient workmanship than these sensational Pink Sapphire Mosaic Earrings available from Luisa Viaroma.
7. Evening Bag
Yes, it’s true, I swear. Believe it or not, this delicate pale pink Duster Ostrich Feather Clutch is designed by Alexander McQueen! The signature Alexander McQueen Knuckle is in place and ready for any evening out on the town.
8. Pink Shoes
Nothing like a little sparkle on your slingbacks to dress up any party frock, let alone a wedding gown! Add a little hot pink satin and you’ve got a winner in my book! Slingbacks by Stuart Weitzman.
9. Pink Ring
Of course Harry Winston would tantalize and tease us with his pink cushion 2.27 carat diamond ring. A stunning statement to be made, indeed!
10. Ladies Watch
Founded in 2002, the watchmaker Philip Stein may be new on the scene as timepieces go, but the innovative designs are far too elegant to take a backseat to any other options. This hot pink band is on my list of must-haves!
Happy Shopping my darlings!
Fondly, Sade Awe
