Villa Le Rose, Florence, Italy
Destination weddings offer gorgeous surroundings and the chance to spend more quality time with your closest friends and family. Today we are going to explore a gem in one of my favorite cities. Read on!
Villa Le Rose is a luxurious 15th century house in Florence, Italy, owned by the son of fashion mogul, Salvatore Ferragamo. The villa is a much-sought-after destination wedding venue that is a perfect home-away-from home for you and your wedding guests. Leonardo and Beatrice Ferragamo bought the villa two decades ago and conducted a large renovation project to enhance it with all the modern comforts of home, while maintaining and enhancing its historical features.
In my opinion, Villa Le Rose is the most exclusive property in Florence and is a magnificent example of Italian Renaissance architecture. The villa has seven deluxe suites with lavish living spaces including a large, striking garden (perfect for outdoor weddings/pictures), a Ballroom with hand painted walls, a study, an elegant dining room, and a swimming pool, which has been perfectly placed in the harmony of the Tuscan countryside. Add to this, Florence culture, art, fun nightlife, amazing restaurants, and fabulous shopping and you have the perfect destination wedding location. In addition, the villa offers a discreet and passionate staff that is dedicated to it’s guests’ well-being, comfort and privacy…so what are you waiting for?
One more thing…I saved the best for last. Remember the fabulous shopping I mentioned? Well…when you travel to Italy, you must visit THE MALL . Trust me when I say this…it is a shopping extravaganza you will never forget. THE MALL is not just any mall…it is where the worlds’ exclusive brands are all under one roof (well almost…PRADA is down the street)! Every girl’s favorite designers are there; ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, BALENCIAGA, BOTTEGA VENETA, BURBERRY, DIOR, FENDI, GIORGIO ARMANI, GUCCI, PUCCI, ROBERTO CAVALLI, SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, SERGIO ROSSI, STELLA MCCARTNEY, TOD’s, VALENTINO, YVES SAINT LAURENT and so many more (but these are my favorites, LOL!). The mall is only 30 minutes outside of Florence…but worth the drive! Plan to spend the entire day there because you won’t want to leave.
