Berry Beautiful Bridal Gowns from Vera Wang

Upon first glance, Vera Wang’s stunning 2013 Collection of red to garnet-hued wedding gowns calls to mind the lyrics of UB40’s classic tune “red, red wine…go to my head…”  Or, better yet,  the captivating modern painting Four Darks in Red by Mark Rothko (1958). After all, the dramatic rich carmines, burgundies and crimsons inspire deep human emotions that are fully-embraced in a wedding.

Bravo to the iconic Madame Wang for dazzling us all with her Chinese-inspired wedding silhouettes! We particularly love the deep, pomegranates and berry colored gowns for their richness. While all of this season’s collection is available in demure whites and ivories, we’d love to see more of these vibrant colors glide down the bridal aisle!  In any color, Vera Wang’s attention to detail, sumptuously layered fabrics and romantic femininity is unsurpassed.
