A Dirty Little Secret about Destination Weddings by Michelle Rago Destinations

As would only be natural when the decision to host a destination wedding is made…the daydreams of amber sunsets and lazy days on the beach kick in. But here’s a dirty little secret about destination weddings. Time spent with family and friends in a meaningful way is simply irreplaceable. The longer I am in the business the more I realize how precious time is. Take my advice and make time to host events and quiet moments that simply involve gathering the people you love. Schedule a Pictionary competition or a scavenger hunt.  Invite your parents on a sunrise walk on the beach or have breakfast with just your dad on your wedding day before it all kicks in.

Putting emphasis on fun, happy, peaceful moments with those who are there with us through life’s journey is as sweet as life can be.

Warmly,

Michelle Rago of Michelle Rago Destinations
