Lace, giant pearls, precision pleats, metallics, and embroidered organza all in one uber lovely bridal collection from Carolina Herrera. In the iconic fashion designer’s Spring 2014 Bridal Collection, there are gowns of varying lengths and styles featuring hand-painted lace motifs, embroidered bodices and beautiful beading. Since Carolina is known to offer something for every type of bride, there were also some understated wedding gowns that, while still elegant, veered toward the simple side of the spectrum. There are even short party frocks that feel modern, sassy and yet still classic in tone. We even love the simple to non-existent jewelry and ladylike hairstyles chosen to complement the gowns. When you’re wearing one of these beautifully designed and perfectly constructed wedding gowns, why over fuss and complicate a good thing with too much flash and frippery?
