Confetti Cake: it’s the Holidays after all, invest in a magical cake worthy of celebrating the season. Nothing says luxury like edible gold leaf and nothing says fun like edible confetti! We topped this cake off with dripping royal icing and fantasy sugar flowers. If made just prior to delivery, fondanted cakes can stay fresh for days before they’re cut so they’re perfect as a wow-factor centerpeice paired with your favorite glittery linens.
Merry Meringues crunchy and light – meringues are perfect during an otherwise indulgently sweet season. Meringues are easy to make – just egg whites and sugar! And whether you dollop them on a cookie sheet or use a piping tip with swirling flair, the meringue is a classic holiday staple that wont hurt the pocket book or interfere with your Holiday schedule. Package them in a box with a wide satin ribbon as a perfect hostess gift!
Glittering Gold Cake Balls: Cake pops redefined and all grown up! Lose the loli sticks and use pretty little platters instead. We’ve rolled these in food grade glitter then topped with buttercream and a chocolate monogram. Each guest gets their personalized bite of deliciousness! A guarantee for no left overs. Displayed en masse, these little beauties will really shine in candlelit soirees. Cake balls are among this simplest of sweets – place chunks of cake in a bowl and add buttercream. Smoosh together until you can form little balls. Dunk in melted chocolate and then dress them up for the party!
Winter Wedding : the true definition of winter white! Snowy matrimony should always be paired with an elegant reflection of the season. Our Sparkling Pine cake with cascading silver sugars, white pine cones and edible pearls is a sophisticated statement nestled in the evergreens. Say “I Do!” to winter.
24k Fudge: gold plated YUM. Use any easy fudge recipe to glam it up over the holidays. We’ve used 3 different cookie cutter sizes then stacked the fudge circles to simulate a mini cake. Use this same concept with christmas themed cutters – stars, angels and trees all look adorable in fudge form. And you can add any decorations that you’d normally add to a basic sugar or shortbread cookie. One at each place setting can be used as a place card – just push your name cards gently into the top tier of the fudge. Delight your guests AND your tastebuds.
Chocolate Apples: Candy apples are soooo yesterday. Well, maybe not – but chocolate just trumps all. These apples were pierced with jewelled forks prior to dipping and then placed in pretty ramekins. We gave them some extra love with sugar pearls strategically placed. Finished off with an edible gold leaf – these beauties will always impress.
Crystal Christmas: Anything… and I mean ANYTHING can be instantly prettied up with one of the most classic confections of all time… rock candy! Artfully placed on cupcakes, puddings, cakes or tarts – your guests can polish off their meals with the crystal essence of winter. Rock candy emulates icicles and tastes lovely. It’s a pretty addition on a saucer paired with an indulgent cup of gourmet cocoa too.
Sparkle Cups : these are easy, thematic and pretty as can be! Chocolate cups can be found at just about any grocer nowadays. Line with fluff and fill with home made mousse. Top with coarse sugar and sparkle all the way into the New Year!
Champagne Jello: I’m not kidding. Variations of this recipe are all over the internet and it’s DELICIOUS. Use Prosecco to save a few pennies. Served in champagne flutes with strawberries and sugared rims – this adult dessert is a definite party starter. Fresh, light and unquestionably festive.
Icy Birch Cake : our Icy Birch Cake is the perfect example of going all out with a simple idea. That approach usually leads to the best, most surprising results. Contact your favorite cake designer and ask them to design something unique for your family fete. Even a small cake can be gussied up to garner your guests attention. Edible toppers – like our gold acorns are always a crowd pleaser.
Cheery Cherry Brownies : our chocolate brownies are always devoured with gusto, but when you add a glittered cherry, your family and friends will go over the edge! They’re an old fashioned favorite, transformed in mere seconds and about as celebratory as it gets!
Custom Gingerbread: We’ve all enjoyed a classic gingerbread house here and there, but why not get really creative? Ask your cake designer to created an animated replica of your own home out of gumdrops, nerds and licorice – or scan the internet for whimsical plans that can be printed out so you can make your own! We always add interior lights, a frozen pond and sugar smoke from the chimney. Why not? Hit the candy or bulk food store and scan the aisles – what can that turkish delight transform into? Cookie sticks? Skor bits? It all ends up in one delicious architectural marvel that the whole family can contribute to!
