No doubt, metallics are a must-have fashion accent for the Fall, with gold embellishments at the top of the trend. This combination has been seen on celebrities and all over the runways this season already. Black worn alone is always sexy and flattering; paired with a hint of gold and you’ve got a HAUTE silhouette. Black and gold combinations are perfect for nights on the town, whether it’s out to dinner with friends or if you’re off to the club. Dazzle them in bold gold and classic black…
I have a new love and it’s called Coco Noir by Chanel. I picked up the new perfume while shopping, perhaps it was the black seductive bottle that caught my eye. But then I took one whiff and the different scents of the florals, jasmine, rose and sandalwood lured me in…
The MUST HAVE piece of jewelry for the season. This piece of jewelry makes a bold statement in the most glamorous way possible with Gucci’s chunky gold-plated and leather cuff.
This sleek and modern black leather belt finished with a gold “Y” buckle adds elegance to every outfit. Yves Saint Laurent City Leather Waist Belt.
As devoted fans of Cake Opera Co.’s talented cake work (and they’re one of our Creative Partners), we weren’t surprised to see this chic black and gold modern cake in Wedding Style Magazine. Of course these creative cake designers would be able to style up a cake with black icing and metallic gold details that everyone will be asking for!
5. Tote Bag
Fendi leathers are known for their versatility and enduring style, and their 2Jours Calfskin Tote Bag is right on par for their exacting standards. I also love the play on the dualism concept each Fendi design embodies—the number 2 and the French adverb “toujours,” which means “always.” Tres chic!
Glamour at it’s best! This black and metallic gold one shoulder evening gown by Romona Keveza is a real show stopper! Fabulous for bridesmaids, or, mothers of the bride or groom! WOW!
Agent Provocateur produces lingerie classics season after season, and this fall the ‘Raphaella’ collection is number one on the style set’s wish list. Cut from beautifully contrasting black j, tulle and pale-pink satin, this boned corset is another sensual must-have.
8. Little Black Book
I’ve always adored the “little black books” from Smythson. For over 125 years, Smythson has provided thoughtful, traditional journals and ledgers for every purpose. Such as wine journals, travel diaries, address books, daily calendars and more. Not only are they elegant gifts for parents and bridal party members, but they’re also wonderful items to put on your wedding registry.
As I have mentioned previously (and could do every month!) the little sweet confections from France’s Laduree are spectacular hostess gifts. Particularly when they are prettily packaged in black and gold boxes! They’re also lovely on dinner tables, or butler passed after dinner to guests.
Marchesa always catches my eye, no matter what these cleve!r fashion designers put out on the market! But I love their crystal-covered, luxurious clutch bags! Gorgeous paired with your wedding gown, rehearsal dinner frock or any other special occasion ensemble.
Oh yeah, ladies, show some sassy goodness in these black suede and gold Gucci heels! Talk about making a statement!
Oscar de la Renta‘s offering some stunning tall black suede boots this season, including my favorite, this sinewy boot with floral appliques.
Happy Shopping my darlings!
