Deborah Griffin, the owner of Illustrative Moments, is a New York-based fashion designer, fashion illustrator, and artist. With over 10 years in luxury bridal design, Deborah renders custom bridal illustrations on commission in a high fashion style coveted by brides (and mothers of the bride) everywhere. Her artistic drawings are not only emotional, elegant and timeless, but they’re also one of the most incredible wedding gifts you could ever bestow on someone.
She grew up in Dallas, Texas obsessed with EVERYTHING bridal. Particularly after Deborah watched Princess Diana’s royal wedding on television That did it. As soon as she could, she headed off to study fashion design at the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York. While in college she interned with CFDA and worked behind the scenes at New York Fashion Week, as well as a design assistant at Vera Wang. After graduation from art school, she continued working at Vera Wang and Nanette Lepore before going on to spend over 10 years at Amsale.
Sketching her way through years of collections, clients, top bridal publications, and friends’ celebrations, Deborah decided to offer the same luxury of high fashion illustration to brides everywhere by launching Illustrative Moments.
