Excited to CELEBRATE with November Events in Kuwait

If there is one place I’ve longed to visit, it’s Kuwait. Situated in the north-east of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia, Kuwait lies on the north-western shore of the Persian Gulf and is bordered by Saudi Arabia and Iraq. As the eleventh richest country in the world, there are ancient Bedouin souks and mosques to explore, as well as gorgeous hotels, stunning beaches and stylish restaurants to sample. But, behind the extravagant richness, lies the traditional values and warm Arabian hospitality that I’ve come to love and yearn for… and I’m happy to say, my dreams are coming true in less than a week!
I was honored to be invited by Bibi Hayat of November Events & Design to speak at next week’s Celebrate Expo in Kuwait City. I’ll be sharing the stage with my dear friend Sylvia Weinstock and I can’t wait to share this experience with her. What a treat! As the host of the bridal expo, Bibi has brought a fabulous roster of wedding professionals together to inspire brides in all aspects of wedding planning. The Celebrate Expo will take place on March 6th, 2013 at the luxurious Al-Baraka Grand Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Hotel which stands as the largest 5 Star hotel ballroom in Kuwait. Last year the fabulous and always charming Preston Bailey was the speaker…
In addition to hanging out in the glamorous Al-Baraka Ballroom, I’ll be staying at the trendy Hotel Missoni.
And there is no way I’m going to leave the city without a tour of the sights and shops, including a stop at the amazing Kuwait City Mall and The Avenues. Particularly as I just found out they have one of my favorite burger places, the Shake Shack! The Avenues is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in Kuwait and you KNOW I’ll be there {wink, wink}.
