Julie Hill started Los Angeles-based Elysium Productions (“Elysium” means “the perfect state of happiness” in Greek) with her husband in 2001 to fulfill a need for modern, stylish wedding cinematography completely missing from the wedding market. The whole reason Elysium was created was to redefine the very essence of what a “wedding video” is in today’s sophisticated market. They set out to create contemporary, cinematic, personal, and beautiful films that document one of the most important experiences in a couple’s life together.
